The governing bodies of the Serbian Society of Soil Science are the Assembly, the President, the Secretary, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board.
The Assembly is the highest body of the Society and consists of all members of SDPZ.
At the Assembly of SDPZ, held in Novi Sad on 25 October 2024, the leadership of the Society was elected for the 2024–2027 mandate period.

Committees
SDPZ operates through ten committees as working bodies, with the aim of organising members by thematic areas. The work of the committees is based on an integrated approach to soil science, meaning that certain topics may be addressed by several committees at the same time, from different professional perspectives.
The work of the committees is carried out through continuous communication among committee chairs and with transparency in their activities. Members of SDPZ may participate in the work of several committees at the same time.
