Events organised by SDPZ are one of the best illustrations of the Society’s continuity and joint action, serving as an important meeting point and space for cooperation among its members.
It is important to emphasise that the number of scientists and professionals in the field of soil science remains insufficient in relation to the growing needs of the economy and development. As the challenges of soil management become increasingly complex, such meetings provide an irreplaceable space for the exchange of experience and the harmonisation of professional approaches.
In addition to the main congresses, which are held every four years, SDPZ continuously organises symposia and professional meetings at the national and regional levels, with international participation, as well as activities marking World Soil Day, celebrated on 5 December.
